Dante Museum Masterpieces 1950's
This is a very beautiful pair of genuine
vintage Dante cufflinks part of a collection called Museum Masterpieces. This
particular set depicts Apollo, patron god of the arts, gift of prophecy and the
one who is connectded with illumination, persuing Daphne, the one he fell in love
with at first sight.
Made in a gold tone with incolay cameo, if
you look closely under the two lovers, written in Greek it translates Apollo i
Daphne. This pair is in excellent condition, circa late 1950’s and a must for
any collector or art connoisseur.
